Collection: Single Origins

Our single origin coffees each come from one country and one harvest, roasted on their own with nothing blended in to round out the character. We source seven origins from around the world and roast every one in small batches on our Loring S15 in Garden City, Idaho, so what's in the bag reflects how that region actually grows and processes its coffee — not a house blend layered on top.

FAQ's

What does "single origin" actually mean?

Every bean in the bag comes from one country and one harvest, instead of being combined with beans from other regions — the most direct way to taste what a specific growing region and process actually produce. If you'd rather have a consistent, blended profile, our Specialty Blends collection is built for that.

How do these origins differ in roast level?

Organic Peruvian and Ethiopian are roasted light, which keeps their brighter, more acidic character intact. Colombian, Tanzanian Peaberry and Organic Guatemala sit at medium. Sumatra and Organic Nicaragua are roasted medium dark for a heavier body.

What sizes do these come in?

Each origin comes in 12oz, 2lb, or 5lb bags, so you can try one or stock up on a favorite.

How is single origin different from a blend?

A blend combines beans from multiple regions for a consistent profile; single origin lets one region's character come through on its own.
