Collection: Specialty Blends

Our specialty blends are built by combining beans from more than one growing region until the balance is right — not left to chance, but shaped by our roasters batch after batch. Every one is roasted to order on our Loring S15 in Garden City, Idaho, then shipped fast, so what reaches you is close to the batch that just came off the roaster. Twelve blends in all, each with its own character — from a gentle Sunrise Breakfast to the deep smoke of an Italian Gold.

FAQ's

What makes a coffee a "specialty blend"?

Each of our specialty blends combines beans from more than one growing region, brought together by our roasters until the balance is right — rather than letting one origin's coffee stand alone, the way our Single Origins collection does.

Which blend is best for espresso?

Espresso Supremo is our espresso blend. It combines three coffees for a rich, creamy shot. If you don’t grind at home, choose Ground and then Fine (Espresso) on the product page.

How fresh are these blends when they ship?

We roast to order on our Loring S15 in Garden City, Idaho, and ship shortly after — so the bag you get is close to the batch that just came off the roaster.

Which blend should I start with?

If you're not sure, start with the roast level you already enjoy. Medium blends (Sunrise Breakfast, Hawaiian, Idaho, Smoke Jumper) are the sweetest and easiest to drink black; Dark blends (Classic French Roast, River Runner, Italian Gold) are the boldest and smokiest.
